Fresh off his 2018 Champion Racing Association (CRA) Championship, Josh Brock is ready to kick off the 2019 season at SpeedFest this weekend.  The Corbin, KY driver looks to start off the year strong and contend for a second CRA win.

“We are extremely excited to get back to SpeedFest,” said Brock.  “We had a good run last year and got in an accident early in the race.  I’ve had a whole year of getting better and learning new stuff and I feel like we can be the team to beat this year.”

Brock and his team have spent time in the off season to be as prepared as possible for the 2019 season.  The plan is to attempt to defend his CRA title and pick up a few more wins.  With his Josh Brock Racing team, he will also have assistance from Wimmer Motorsports for a second-straight season.

“We have been working during the off season to get everything tuned in and rebuilt,” said Brock.  “Everything is refreshed and ready to go for the 2019 season.  With great cars and Wimmer Motorsports, I think we will have one bad ass hot rod.”

While Brock eyes a trip to Victory Lane at Crisp Motorsports Park this weekend, the most important thing is just to get the year started on a strong note.  This marks his second trip to the Georgia track and Brock believes his experience from last year will help him be a step ahead this year.

“With the caliber of team I have and the quality of the cars, we need to go down there and run top-five to represent being the 2018 CRA Champion,” said Brock.  “The biggest thing I learned last year in my first time there was the groove.  This year I won’t be wasting time learning.”

Fans can watch Brock race at SpeedFest live on Speed51.com’s PPV coverage.
